RouteLogic has more than 40 transit installations for its systems. Our management, development, and technical personnel created systems for the largest public transit contractor in the United States from 1988 to 1995. At that time, Windows was beginning to replace DOS as the standard operating system for PC's. There were no Windows based routing and scheduling systems on the market. Therefore, we decided to take the opportunity to create the first Windows based systems for the transit industry.

The experience from developing systems for paratransit routing and scheduling, transit billing, student transportation routing and scheduling, and student transportation billing was a key element when we began designing the RouteLogic products. We took our valuable transit operations knowledge and the special needs of transit software users to build intuitive systems based on the unique work flow of public transit providers.

RouteLogic customers are located throughout the United States. Our installations run from single user with just a few vehicles, to a 30-user site brokering more than 2,200 trips per day.
RouteLogic provides software to the transit industry primarily for paratransit management and fixed route customer service. When a system is purchased from RouteLogic, we customize the implementation to fit the needs of the customer. This includes a map for the geographic service area of the customer, and training modules and schedule to fit the needs of the staff.

All of our products are true geographic information systems (GIS), written in one of the few GIS computer languages available, MapBasic. This makes our systems the most powerful GIS systems in the transit industry.

RouteLogic has its offices in Orlando, Florida.
RouteLogic was established in July 1995.
RouteLogic saw a need by small and medium sized transit operators for full-feature, high-quality software. Before we entered the market, routing and scheduling systems were only financially feasible for large transit agencies. It was our groundbreaking business model which required the established competitors to lower their prices when bidding against us. Two of the three leading firms when RouteLogic entered the market have since ceased operations because they could no longer compete.
RouteLogic provides systems designed to give transit operators immediate benefits. As an example, most of our implementations are completed within two weeks during the on-site installation and training phase. This compares to implementations requiring multiple trips and many months our competitors offer. We do not believe a system implementation should be that disruptive to a transit operations and the office staff.

RouteLogic also offers the most powerful reporting package in the industry. Our systems include five methods for generating information. We offer: more than 40 custom reports, our SnapInfo user-friendly integrated report generator, our SnapMap GIS map generator, integrated Crystal Reports, and our TransInfo data exporter. (One competitor can only produce reports through Crystal Reports.)

RouteLogic stays focused on its original objective, small and medium sized transit operators.

RouteLogic develops its systems using a true GIS language, MapBasic. This reduces our development cycle and thereby allows us to quickly enhance our products when new requirements arise.

RouteLogic manages its growth intelligently. We only promise what we can deliver.
